I just donβt wanna spend any time messing with it. I have so much work to do. I need a stable thing to run Maya, Resolve, Blender, ZBrush, with no care and feeding.

22.11.2025 05:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also this. This was SO COOL. If you werenβt there, you donβt get it. 50 Cent was THE GUY. Just everywhere. He was shot 9 times or w/e. He was larger than life.
But kudos were due. He invested. Got rich. Respect.

If you have a REAL pump up track at the gym, you know it. This is one of mine. The perfect beat for slow full range lifting!

XP was still janky tho. 7 is when it became SLICK. That Aero theme, the proper 3D acceleration. XP still felt like 2000 with a painted on shiny coat. Great for the time tho! But I count it as the last of the first gen. Starting with 95.
22.11.2025 02:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think it's because back then, ppl were EXCITED about technology. The computer was still novel. Now it's like, "Who cares. Just put AI in it and have it advertise games no one's gonna play." No, Windows, I'm not playing Cut the Rope on desktop. Get all the way the fuck away from me please.
22.11.2025 02:05 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Maaan, we lived through the golden age of Windows. Windows 7 was it. Beautiful, functional. Perfect? Fuck no. But good enough. And MODERN. Hello Windows 98. Yes, you were good, but of the old era. Still better than this tho :P Now it's just bloated, awful and broken, and made for the wrong reasons.
22.11.2025 02:03 β π 21 π 1 π¬ 3 π 0You can also check translation. How will this mic sound onβ¦ car speakers, headphones, laptops, etc. I keep it flat for mixing. But when Iβm listening for fun I like a little extra saucy bass. So we do that.
22.11.2025 00:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0At first, itβs like a little motion controller game. But by the time youβre on point number 30, with the speakers clicking echolocation at youβ¦ itβs no game. BUT super worth it. It analyzes the acoustics of your space and EQs your speakers to be flat. And then after that, you can EQ on top!
22.11.2025 00:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0EXTREMELY XD He's a golden retriever, so he MUST SMELL EVERYTHING. I taught him a 5 second countdown. He gets 5 seconds to smell and pee. And he knows now, so when I start counting, he hustles. On a good day, we can walk a 14 minute mile. When he's less in the mood to listen, it can go up to 20.
21.11.2025 16:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0#ZigHealthTip [If you're able to do so] WALK! I walk my dog ~6 miles/day, 6 days/week! My goal is to hit 2k miles/year next year (which, yes, requires more than 6 miles, so we're working up to that)! Slowly working up to that each year.

20.11.2025 21:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Like on one hand, I want to support King of the Hill by subbing to Hulu. But on the other, these ads (and just being served ads in general after already paying them a subscription fee) are making me want to sail the high seas again π΄ββ οΈ
20.11.2025 16:57 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0God, the fuckin Meta ads. βOur small, rural community was poor, and then Meta built a massive data center there. Now everyone has jobs and everything is great!β Fuck you all the way to whatever hole you crawled out of, Zuck.

It's crazy how much of the work on a production is involved in making random assets you don't really think about... like a college ID. I needed it for a scene, so I went and designed a passable college ID π€·
Accidentally wrote "LMSO" instead of "LMAO," but ended up keeping it because it's actually more wholesome. Laughing My Socks Off ^.^

I'm glad some folks still remember Lakeforest U :3 I may have to do some character cameos from my Alflor days!
19.11.2025 14:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Depends. Just this specific project took like 1.5 hours. But I'd already previously designed the Lakeforest U logo, which took about 3-4 hours, but that's because I'd already come up with a color palette and fonts, which took another several hours. It all builds on previous work.

19.11.2025 05:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs cool, too, because everything adds to the story! Like, the expression Myles makes when he gets his picture taken says a ton about where he is mentally at that moment. It's so much fun! Granted, their humor is not for everyone, but I love it! And it's massively creative. They mix like every possible style of animation into this amazing stew.
18.11.2025 23:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Look, I shit-talk Blender a LOT but I do so out of love. I still work extensively with it. And no matter what, their mission is absolutely second to none!
