Love the characters and how they grow, great battle system. A fun road trip where mom and dad save the world. Don't expect tales games to be super deep but it handles its themes incredibly shallow like and it feels like it could have done so much more with them and the reveals.

We just finished Vesperia and oh boy does it seem held in high esteme. But we didn't find Yuri as interesting as everyone hypes him to be and our sins does it have the most meandering aimless plot we've ever encountered.

Been really enjoying the Tales of series so far, it's a bit campy but we're a sucker for worlds on the brink of destruction and the emphasis on character and exploring different types of tropes is really fun.

We think our ranking of the games might end up being interesting though.
