I canceled my Paramount Plus subscription, giving as my reason their cancelling Colbert. Helped a tiny bit.

I did a two week editing stint at Colbert’s Late Show once (just learning the ropes, filling in for a vacation). I can tell you that building is full top to bottom with the best in the business. They’ll all land on their feet and you certainly haven’t seen the last of Stephen Colbert and crew.

Is Colbert’s Ouster Really Just a ‘Financial Decision’? CBS no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt.

If CBS thought Trump wouldn’t approve the Skydance-Paramount merger unless they got rid of Colbert, that would be a financial decision.

When CBS talked about it being “purely a financial decision” with regard to canceling Colbert, I’m assuming they meant that billionaires were out to muzzle him.

Just watched Stephen Colbert monologue from Tuesday; he talks about the Paramount/CBS bribe payment to tRump.
