Yeah makes sense!! I think I post a lot in the 2-8k range, so that’s probably why :”)) @ help how to make people expect 30k one shots from you without having to constantly write 30k oneshots (… I love writing longer works but also am Very Bad at actually finishing them)

Maybe I’m also just a bit hmmmm because the last os over 10k I posted did comparatively Bad

I will say I always write fics with the intention of them being one shots & also personally prefer reading works as one shots, so I just cannot judge what feels comfortable to others, but I’ve had ppl tell me they need works split for focus and migraine reasons so I’m just a bit hmmm

My personal inclination is Always the one shot route, but I do see again and again that there are a few people who find one shots over 10k uncomfortable to read?

Okay question time yet again. I’ve got 12k of a drafted Thing standing, do I
a) post it as a oneshot
b) post it split into two chapters (with both chapters going up at once)?
This is simply for ease of reading, neither answer will influence anything about posting. Thoughts?
