I think it kind of says a lot that the only options we have in game to rep us are things that are overwhelmingly orientalist, sexualized, and innacurate so it's a huge bummer even if we wanted to make a character that reps us seriously.

of their inclusion (or lack of distinct separation) can be harmful and dismissive to those who are affected by orientalism. It's not the worst thing I've seen, but it's still not great and MENA people, who already barely have any rep or respect shown towards their culture, deserve so much better.

I still haven't played new varient dungeon but I'm not gonna go around shaming people who want to use the prizes cuz it's ur choice and no one can stop you, tbh. I think what matters more to me is having the ability to recognize why people of those cultures are upset and why not being critical-

oohh nah I haven't played it yet and won't until tonight! I did unlock it tho and, deeply orientalist outfits/prizes aside, I'm actually glad they featured some accurate trivia regarding pottery, beverages, some mythos etc... that distinctly comes from specific regions (iykyk) but I won't spoil!
