Every infection of Covid-19 results in lasting damage.
Every infection of Covid-19 weakens immunity.
Every infection of Covid-19 has the potential to cause serious illness and early mortality.
Every infection of Covid-19 poses an extreme danger.

Governments do not want citizens to think about the harsh outcome that is likely to result from deliberately allowing Covid-19 to spread without control. Governments prefer that citizens continue to engage in a foolish game of make-believe, pretending that everything will turn out fine.
#COVID19
Conditions of rampant contagion, mass illness, and excess mortality resulting from the uncontrolled spread of Covid-19 are far worse than most people perceive them to be.

A watercolor and pen drawing of a slightly anxious looking pumpkin looking at a single falling leaf. Colors are shades of orange. Art by me.
Fall is in full swing, and with every walk I take, I see the fleeting beauty of the season all around me. I call the leaves falling from their trees "autumn snow." 🍂🍁
This seasonal illustration is available in my shop, along with several other fall-themed works. 🧡

A photo of a small end table in front of a window. A plant, a blue Japanese bud vase, a black mug, and a book called "The Zen Life" rest on it.
Revisiting an old favorite today. 🖤🩶

We're all interconnected, whether we like it or not. What if we each decided to be less selfish, less quick to respond harshly, less self-absorbed? We all have those traits, but we can consciously opt to bend away from them & bend instead towards humanity.
Totally. 😑

New recipe is up & it features the small but mighty chickpea! These little guys are so good & cheap chickpea burgers are a go-to for us. Grocery prices are off the charts & I do my best to keep our costs as low as possible. Using dried beans has been one of my biggest wins. Link for the burgers ⬇️
