I would love to do just that, yes!! I have so many ideas...
And, I'm working on a wordless picture book called "Monk & Puppy" that I'm currently submitting to agents/publishers (no dice so far).

A Fateful Flourish, photo by me of a Sandhill Crane triumphantly throwing its wings and head back
My despair-fighting deed of the day: donated an exhibition piece to an awesome Ypsi therapist office / health community hub, because everyone deserves some wild wonder when they're going through it!

I thought we could all use a dose of cuteness right about now, so here is Fenton.
This gentle little elephant is now in my shop and is looking for his forever home. ❤️

I am dreading it, too. The past few heatwave were too much for me. Our apartment is on the top floor of the building, faces south, and does not have air conditioning. So brutal.
Nary a snowflake this winter was not a good sign.
In this month's blog post, I talk about spirituality, discipline, and the creative process. 🖤🤍

The troubled world of 2026, a world in which war, disease, tyranny, and suffering are rampant, is what happens when the value of human life is not strongly upheld.
#war #disease #tyranny #suffering #life
There is already so much suffering in our world, and all our leaders ever seem to be able to do is add to it.

"The United States has a long history of corrupt dealings in regard to Iran, a history that Donald Trump, for his own overbearing, self-serving reasons, is eager to continue, using savage violence as his chosen tool of action."

I received my very first rejection for my picture book.....and it totally made my day.
That sounds weird and contradictory, but I imagine there are others out there who can relate to what I mean? Or am I an outlier with this one? (Wouldn't be the first time....)
Hair is so personal for everyone, and we all have our reasons for wearing it the way we do, be them religious, spiritual, practical, symbolic, aesthetic, etc. People get so hung up about what other people do with their own hair, which is so bizarre to me.
02.03.2026 18:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There were several reasons I cut it off initially back in December of 2025 (I did a brief post about it at the time), and now I am enjoying the change from the long hair, so opted to keep it buzzed.

Having a husband who loves your buzzed hair AND LOVES DOING IT FOR YOU is so great.

No. War. Anywhere.

Can you understand now why Vulcans were so concerned when humans attained warp capability?
Meaning they could travel to other planets taking with them their humanness.
Covid-19 being allowed to spread freely in medical settings is an unforgivable moral scandal.
