yeah. I had an Aureal Vortex 3D PCI sound card..... seemed OK at the time. I don't think i knew any better. I did mess around with a SB AWE64 later.. I think for DOS, most cards had a SB compatible mode. Yeah - if you need Midi and stuff all the classic cards are ISA.
