I’m disillusioned to how many monsters walk among us. The systemic corralling of large swaths of the population into tightly controlled media bubbles has been key.
Until we get rid of right wing media in all forms- the population will continue to think fascism is good ‘ol’ American Christianity

7 Bottom line:
No mass punishment. No show trials. Just law.
Evidence → charges → juries → sentences.
That’s how a democracy says: authoritarian violence is not tolerated.

Step 6: Climb the chain (when evidence exists).
Supervisors can be charged if they ordered, enabled, or knowingly ignored unlawful conduct. Patterns matter. Emails matter. Directives matter.

Step 5: Prosecute cover-ups aggressively.
Lying in reports, destroying video, coordinated false statements = obstruction, perjury, conspiracy. These cases are often easier to prove than the shooting itself.

Step 4: Kill the “just following orders” excuse.
U.S. law rejects it. Orders that violate the Constitution are not lawful orders. Knowledge + compliance = liability. This is settled law.

Step 3: Apply state homicide law (where facts fit).
Federal agents are not immune from state murder/manslaughter charges if force wasn’t justified. Key tests: imminence, necessity, proportionality.

Step 2: Prove a civil-rights violation (18 U.S.C. §242).
They must show the agent willfully deprived someone of constitutional rights under color of law. If injury or death results → penalties up to life in prison.
