Steam has its group chats that looks exactly like discord.

I ended up looking into Root App. They even let you put discord server templates in it to build your server back instantly.

But if someone wants a really big world to be their home world. They won't be able to do this cool dynamic stuff to begin with.

I guess its out of place for me to push for a set home option for a world that's published on this comment. Just fresh in my head

Sure. But this can be communicated.

The first time a user sets a home world from a published one, have it tell them they can't make adjustments unless they save the world to their inventory/account.
Mention it'll use up their storage if they do.

People want something other than local.

When you say dynamic home worlds, what do you mean?

Resonite still lacks the ability to easily make a published world your home without you owning it.

You have to save it to your inventory with you as the owner and then do it. Which is not respective to player's storage.

At last. I can do rain justice.

We put a couple hours in today for figuring out turning and strafing for our skating system.

We've hit a snag when it comes to spinning while using the full body version when skating. We'll... slap at it more tomorrow.

We took a different approach and learned something for complex system designing as a team. +1 for us.

Moving in FBT skating achieved.
Tomorrow we implement breaking, calibration and possibly turning.

Why continue if nobody is interacting with your stuff? You may release something and then someone else does a big thing shortly after. Over shadowing you.

So you stop.

For livestreaming, to get seen you Stream. But you have to push through when there is nobody there.
Mental juggling.

Yeah that sounds about right.

If you plan to go live for a month straight and you receive no viewers for the beginning of that month. That is such a downer than most streamers just kinda stop.

If someone makes content and nobody visits. Why continue?

It's not a stab at you, but it's more like. I'm idling until that fix comes in.

Some people may not post things because they're inherently shy, but then you have others that are driven by the community engaging with their content.

If their content isn't found, less likely they'll want to do a post

Another example is when Twitch API was updated, we lost the ability to natively plug in and get things like channel points being redeemed.

People going into our worlds and talking about it makes me want to post about it when I do an update.

Example, there is nothing to drive me to do an update for say.... Our team's very first MMC back in what.. 2019? Who is going to see it?

It's our own drive we're using to update.

It's the happiness factor. The user's mood being affected.

I'm happy with the state of the platform. Thus I play it. I'm a creator of content here with my friends.

People go and visit our worlds and they provide feedback in some way or express their thoughts, it makes us want to update it.

Since our player base is small, the side that wants to post things are incredibly small

Which is why I brought up that good first step. Allow people to see updated worlds easier.

and with how each platform has... interesting leaderships. Some people have sworn off of social media entirely.

The 200+ loyal users on each day are 99% introverted individuals. When you showed my tweet that one day, I've had a stream of people popping in saying they saw it on social media. So <c>

Since you also have a channel inside Discord for projects, players are sharing it there.

MEGA TLDR; When the experience of the game is positive, people will want to spread positive vibes. When there is friction, things can push towards neutral.

I love doing Quality Assurance. It's been my hobby for decades, it's now my actual job title.

When I tried to do it loosely for the platform before, I was treated badly and it's pushed me off for doing any work. It was me fighting to give you guys quick and dirty reports.

So I no longer do it.
