The suburb of Sandy Bay smothered by thick smoke. The lights of night time suburbia appear covered with the prominent hills behind completely obscured.
Smoke from the west coast fires has finally made its way to nipaluna. If this is what we are copping all that way away I canโt imagine what the nearby towns are going through tonight.

I just cry when I hear about fires in the TWWHA. Many of these magnificent area of ancient Gondwana flora have never burned & will never recover if they do. Good to see more air assets being deployed. This is what climate change does #climatecatastrophe
