My home town can be remarkably civilized. Imagine being able to persuade the local Triffids to play cricket. At least I think that this is what the mural on the pavilion is showing. 🤣

As a kid I lived in a wee Scottish town 3 miles from the largest rookery in the country. It was not quite the spectacle of a murmuration, but the flight lines of various corvids heading to from the four points of the compass was something to see. Adam Watson counted them in the 10s of thousands.
