For some shots I used an editing technique that allows you to timelapse the sky while leaving the water/ ground in real-time by overlaying 2 copies of the same shot. As a result, you can see how the sun doesn't quite line up with its reflection at one point.

anuary of this year was pretty calm and sunny around Ucluelet. Underwater visibility is best in the winter so a couple of the crew donned wetsuits and explored the nearby reefs. Hopefully next time we'll have them equipped with underwater-ready cameras to share some images.

Last week we ventured to a remote island in the region for a little private white-sand beach time.
