One of my favourite photography experiences was capturing a local family fishing in their canoe at sunset near Reef Point. The hazy sky was cotton-candy pink and, at one point orcas made their way trough the scene as well.

Today's afternoon walk came with the observation the the Evelyn May has had another significant slip on her starboard side recently. I also bothered a bird, saw an pirate and, perhaps most upsetting, watched the fog blow in when I have a BBQ with friends tonight. #Ucluelet #Ukee #VancouverIsland

One of the great privileges of my life is the amazing places I get to visit to play music. Here's a photo taken on one such visit to Sonora Resort, near Campbell River

Today is the ninth anniversary of my wife and I taking possession of our home in Ucluelet. Before that we had lived in Tofino, for about a decade.
