I converted these minis for RAT KING the night before I left for adcon and painted them 45 mins before we played! Added some gunk and a highlight or two after, but overall I’m leaving them like this for now. @bogbodyminis made a killer game!

A classic “Hive World Ganger” from May of 1989! Sculpted by Jes Goodwin, this guy might have the wildest head of hair in all of the known universe. I’ve got the other ‘89 ganger almost done too!

45min paint job on this guy during a hobby hang a few days back with some friends. I’m trying to crank out some of my backlog that I’ve neglected for a while now.

I converted this lesser Empire Lord recently to prove to myself that I will make/finish my empire army within the next few years 😬.

SCUM WITH PLASMA PISTOL. This is such a perfect model. Just an absolute freak carrying a gun that will eventually kill him. Doesn’t get more 40k than that. Released in 1997, sculpted by Michael Perry.

These metal “Shock Troopers in power armor” made by Heritage in 1979 work perfect for retro Rogue Trader kinda stuff. They’re from the Galacta 25 range, sculpted by Max Carr. Speed painted with contrasts, then a highlight, and some minimal detail goes a long way! They’re rad!

Yeah! I’ll definitely have some there as well.

Ernhartd Finkle has always been loyal to his master. Even now, after all these years he carried around his skull, which some say is possessed by the spirit of said former master due to the subtle glowing green shard of stone lodged in its mouth. Ernhardt is nothing if not a loyal thrall.

I love this Squat Techpriest from check point miniatures! Tons of character, fits perfectly with OG rogue trader squats, and was quick to paint up.

In the grim darkness of the far future there are six Rogue Trader Squats! I tried to keep with a late 80’s scheme on these guys, and also didn’t go crazy with detail. I love the tiny hints of character via the graffiti though!

One of the absolute coolest models GW produced, the 2003 Grand Reliquae. I’ve got more battle pilgrims to fill this unit out at some point, but for now this’ll do!

A handful of WWII partisan. Some of these minis are clearly wearing or using Soviet gear, but omitting them and adding others means I could use them for most partisan factions easily with a few switches depending on the country!
