Honestly this is why I stick to soda most places. My lemon juice, orgeat, and water shaken together over ice is next to nothing compared to the martini that costs the same. Or the still-bitter but better house-made club soda drinks.

Spent a few hours staking it out, but the Columbus Ohio Orange-crowned Warbler was still there today. Each time it showed up at the feeders I made the (hard) decision to help everyone spot it rather than taking a nice photo, but I got a record shot and you can actually see that orange crown haha

The contempt in this statement is not about providing therapy it is about the alleged brokenness of being queer. That's what you need to understand. It's not time to defend therapy it's long past time to stop letting religious people call us mentally ill.

Of course they think little girls have feelings (as in INSIDE OUT); they also think moms need to have emotions categorically different than dads (as in INSIDE OUT). The reason queer people can't exist in this universe is because WE'RE seen as broken, the "therapy" is different. There's no conflict.

Anyway, I'm most interested in the health analysis - it's been difficult to get a reference to do genetic testing to figure things out.

But a bunch of the "genetic traits" are very, very wrong. I supposedly have a trait that shows I'm "likely to tan" and that my eyes are likely brown. Neither are correct.

But it does confirm (?) that I have bitter taste receptors (no coffee, please).

As part of the genetic study I agreed to participate in, I get ancestry and health screenings. My mom was directly from England with English and Polish/Ukranian ancestry. My dad's side is mostly Irish Catholics. So, unsuprisingly, the tests show me at 98.1% European.

I listen to different podcasts and one episode I heard yesterday is sticking with me. It featured an interview with a Big Name in generative AI who said something kind "I wanted to learn how the brain works but after my PhD I still didn't know". AND THEN the podcast host said the PhD was in physics.

Ok, I've meal planned and put together a shopping list. At some point I need to wash my hair. I was going to start my next knitting project, but I don't have the correct needles and that will need to wait until Tuesday.
