Considering naming him Chance after my LuckyLocke character... Luckys rival and closest friend, already preinstalled based on the Kanto rival, etc

Admittedly I'm not completely sure what I want to name the rival... It feels boring to just go for like a basic 'canon' name

I've often found lizards to be pretty cute actually. Its related, I think? I remember telling my gram that once a few months ago and she thought it was weird! They're just weird little dogs though... I found a baby lizard in my bed a few months ago, actually. I caught him so gently and let him out.

I think my truth is that I have a soft spot for Geckos specifically. My older cousin used to have some when I was a kid and I always thought they where really cool creatures. I hadn't really thought about that in a long time, but Gecqua brought it to mind again.

I'm going to just like. Try and start saving I guess? My gram agreed to letting me put 25$ of my disability aside a month but even then... It'll be a while before I can actually replace and upgrade. I've got a trial job MAYBE at some point so that could be something. Its fine though. I can deal!

The left joycons barely recognizes when its plugged in and only lasts like 3 minutes when it does, and I pulled it out of the dock on 100% just now and it took about 5 minutes to get down to 15%. Dock and Pro-Controller only I guess.

If I had to guess based on vibes and pokemon I know they like alone… I think my baby brother will be a Pombon guy… I think baby sister might pull the surprise Browt? But i could also see her liking Gecqua

Ive been getting both games since swsh (it was an accident for that one, and very on purpose for scvi) so im hoping to do the same here… Main game whichever legendary i like more, Gecqua starter, day 1 (id midnight release it if i could) and then like a week later game 2 Pombon starter or wtvr)

Surprised (and a little sad) about no Emerald though. However that DOES mean I can just focus on saving after I get Leaf Green (ill get FR another time) since with FE Fortunes Weave and now WindsWaves being switch 2 only ill probably have to get one this year

And then galar just had this one fuckass fantasy one size fits all bike and the awesome console dexes are just a stupid phone app now. I miss my real ass pokemon bike but like ok sure i can live!! I will ALWAYS be a Rotom Phone hater. You will NEVER catch my ass saying “Oh yay, the rotom phone!”

Pokemon was always at its peak to me, when it was *somewhat* grounded in reality, yeah? You got actual real bikes you ride, you hop on your pokemon to surf and fly, your pokedex is a goofy little gizmo that looks like your console. Alolas ride share even had character, especially using Stoutland.

Im going to talk about more shit that doesnt really matter for a moment hold on. Ok so in the Mcs art they both have some fuckass boards, and my guess is that those’ll be the rotom bike/koraidon of this game in some way. Like a hoverboard. And i am mildly perturbed by that thought!!!

I actually did Semi Joke Starter Final Type predictions on my discord before my nap. My Browt prediction was kinda half assed but idk. I stand by it? But its the one id be least surprised about not being accurate I think.

I do really like the look of Pombon though, Im really hoping he could be the first Fire/Fairy type. Ive wanted one of those (especially as a starter?) for a long time
