fursuit representation has come a long way since that one episode of CSI

another neat collaborative one in this is gwima, where we animated the lip sync using a basic rig and then the fx artists drew 2D fire on top of it

the chibi rig was my favourite! like you see in the video, it let us create a mouth shape without having to worry about the skin geo around it while still having a mouth bag that went back in depth through the face of the character, but cos of the way it was masked you didn't see any of the crashing

i saw it last night and MAAANNNNN it's been a long time since i've been so utterly delighted by a movie, made me proud of canadian cinema. highly recommend seeing it if you can, we went for cheap tuesday and the theatre was packed, it was such a good time!!

for real, the directors set the tone and it had such a ripple effect down through the levels of leadership. my part in that was small on this movie but it was such a pleasure to be a part of and i learned a lot from them that i'll be taking with me into my next shows for sure

it's so nice to see folks loving GOAT, it was one of the most fun movies that I've ever worked on and the whole crew had SUCH a good time because the directors brought the good vibes and open collaboration each and every day. proof that you don't need to kill artists to make a fun movie 🤘

yes!! night watch used to be my fave but after re-reading them recently i think i enjoyed fifth elephant more this time around, it's just so good
