Was looking forward to soup today. The package was slightly open, red flag 1. I decided to heat the heck outta it. Then I saw the cheese I added after had a small mold spot, red flag 2. Threw it all away. Emergency desk ramen for lunch it is. RIP broccoli cheddar soup.

I am having too much fun with having glow in the dark nail polish. In regular light, it drives me crazy and I don't like it. But in the dark, I am the happiest NightOwl.

Well I've officially reached "my day is mostly medications" age. Kinda hate it. Would REALLY like to not be on any of them. Started a new one tonight because I'm home from HalLUDOween. Which was epic and I want to still be there with my friends. Maybe next year I can go all weekend. Just 1 VIP show.

Went to ballet to stop thinking. It was exactly what I needed tonight.

I couldn't go one day without nail polish before I was back at my anxious picking. I have a VERY specific look I want for Sunday, so "peely base" it is so I can easily take this polish off in a few days.

Breaking in a new corset.

Sitting with littlest as she fell asleep tonight. Pup hopped up and snuggled on top of littlest and they both fell asleep. Time to check on oldest and see if pup wants to snuggle her, too.

Thinking about how I have both my "battle jacket" and a gray denim vest. And now I want to take the vest and turn that hard core punk and keep my "battle jacket" more acceptable punk. Both will have my views displayed, the vest will just be louder about it.

My current nail color has a chip in one nail. I have been holding out changing the color as long as possible so I can get a solid week out of the next color before switching to the nail color I want to wear for the NSP/TWRP show. Still unsure what outfit to wear. Why April?! It's cold downtown!

Hearing no photos/videos were allowed really sours the excitement for this tour. I hope that was just a venue choice. I talk about past shows using photos all time, especially if a @twrpband.bsky.social show. But also so friends who couldn't join me can enjoy the shows. AND for my own memories.

Shuffled the pin bag. Removed 4 pins (duplicates) and added 7 in the "front."
And the "back" because I love them so much.

Disclosure, I do not wash the curls every day. The "hair loss" shampoo was not being used "as directed" anyway so whatever. And conditioner was never used in favor of curl cream. So we'll see how curl cream plus solid conditioner treats my hair. And time to start soap chemistry for shampoo bars.

I've been curious about solid shampoo bars as a soap maker. It took my regular shampoo formula being changed and an allergic reaction to the fragrance change for me to make the switch. First wash with the solid shampoo and solid conditioner was yesterday. If I like this, I am going to make my own.

I also never really saw the point of "socially acceptable" and preferred loud nail polish and "being weird" because, while isolating at times, it felt more comfortable instead of shoving myself into the "normal" box. I found my community and am still exploring me. But NightOwl has become who I am.
