Reading Maria no Danzai solely because I saw this cute character on the cover and this manga is like a page turner revenge thriller and also like… ridiculous where characters are almost superhuman but like the mom is such a fascinating character and i like to watch her work. it’s pure seinen pulp

The 21st and 27th issues of Famitsu include a two-part feature about the making of Dragon Quest II. The articles were written by Yuji Horii himself and contain a bunch of cute illustrations of the dev team working on the game, which were drawn by Doi Takayuki (土居孝幸).

Last day of anime lockdown and I learned that DLsite has stuff in Eng. I’m learning Japanese so it was really fun (and tiring) to try to read some of the manga. Also saw The Sound of Music. I kept tearing up while watching it -even in happy parts

That Frieren Tournament arc thing was kind of a slog for instance 😔

This movie with its strong imagery has a lot of subtlety that you can miss by not paying attention to the right things. When I saw the movie back then Atsuko’s feelings felt like they came out of nowhere but I understand it a lot better now and she even says it herself

dolls don’t really scare me but the doll in this movie is really creepy

omfg i just realized that the cops high school bestie is voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka omg 😭 brilliant

And the innuendo in this movie is so blatant to me now. It looks like Paprika is in a love hotel in the beginning and she says things like ‘I’m going to be a little rough teehee’
