This is not my life you're describing.

You've only just noticed?

As Lloyd Grossman used to say, "the clues are there"

Is he annoyed? Jolly good.

Does anyone actually believe this BS?

You're going to war because that's what the unfettered desires of Israel demand.

Did you not vote for that?

90% staying up. We're not playing like a team about to be relegated. You never know, but we're consistently playing competitively, generally solid at the back and capable of picking up points both home and away. The fixtures are okay, albeit we go to both Cov and Boro.

Yes, saw every game in the 2001/2002 season at home along with a handful of away games. Absolute genius and utterly wasted in a struggling Barclays Div 1 side. Could still have played top end premier league I reckon, and here I was playing with Sammy Igoe and Jamie Vincent!

We had a firkin pub on our uni campus called the faculty and firkin. Good times πŸ‘

Whilst the comparison is not a fair one, the question is.

Trump will be dead by then.

Sounds like #Pompey, just we chucked in an absolute act of suicide to lose a game we dominated from start to finish.

Maybe we could invite the Iranians to do a bit of "reconstructive" work on the course?

I think you will find that Reform Farage should f**k off

28.02.2026 20:07 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I've given trying to second guess what Pompey will do in terms of results. We are consistently playing at a competitive level, so assuming we turn up, we'll hopefully give Hull what they are due after we handed survival on a plate to them last season. If we don't turn up... Probably screwed.

27.02.2026 17:06 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Frankly, we're probably fucked either way, so we may as well burn the house down being nicer to eachother

Having read so many posts about how the greens victory is a victory for "hope", will hope actually deliver in a world of limiting debt interest payments and a policy to simply ignore that basic reality?

27.02.2026 05:55 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Whilst I take your sentiment and echo it, but when you look at the seats political make up, the right, through reform, have grown the right wing vote significantly. It's a growth that the left may struggle to resist in less left-leaning constituencies.

Worrying times.

Maybe, the continual spotlight on farage, his racism, his incompetence when challenged, his messages straight from the trump/fascist playbook aren't landing, and the continued platforming of him will actually be his downfall?

27.02.2026 05:07 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

He drove back from the pub again, didn't Steve?

The success of populism over realism?

Ah well, at least Josh Allen can ensure it's a dilemma the bills won't face in a generation πŸ˜‰

Certainly the approaching mid-terms look an almost dead cert to cause something to preemptively kick off. Wouldn't fancy being a US soldier running around the Iranian mountains this summer/autumn.

21.02.2026 07:45 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Not particularly. Will need to retain the help of the footballing gods, but fear we've exhausted their goodwill on Tuesday night.

20.02.2026 10:48 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I'd be surprised if we won either. Injuries are killing us. We'll scrap but will need the help of the football gods. That said, the football gods owe us after the last two games so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised?

16.02.2026 19:58 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Neither have workable policies and would be an immediate disaster for the country. Both ignore the economic realities they'd have to work with and would immediately damage further the declining UK.

A populist dogfight. Bodes well for the future.

Lancashire derby?

Huddersfield by a couple.

I don't think they're doing it to troll trump, but to show a more liberal face to the wider world as they're their target markets for expansion.
