Here’s the thing:

Independent bookstores aren’t *just* bookstores. They are pillars of their communities and supporting them means supporting all of the incredible work they do beyond selling books.

They’re invaluable. Am*zon is not.

My first thought on finishing veilguard was - 'this is a solid mass effect game but I don't know how dragon age fans would feel about it'. Now it seems that was not a design choice but a necessity to salvage a half decent game in the face of gaslighting, toxicity, and death by a thousand cuts. Ugh.
