Progress on Region A.

Day 57, and another hex. Six to go to finish this first region.

And here's the progress map. We're at day 56, and I've finished 12 hexes. I think I have some catching up to do...

And the overall progress on Region A. Given I'm a little behind, My goal right now is to finish Region A by the end of the month.

I'm back! Just spent a lovely five days on holiday with family, but now the pencils are back in-hand and scribbling away.

These three bring me to nine hexes total, or nearly halfway to completing the region!

Another three hexes to add to Region A, in the #HexCrawl25 challenge. Really enjoying these bite-sized chunks of creativity.

I'm really loving how your map is taking shape. You have an excellent sense of colour and design. Keen to learn more about your technique!

Strictly speaking day 12 of #HexCrawl25, although I didn't start until the 7th of January, so is that just day 5? Either way, another three hexes to add to the lineup.

Two more hexes for #HexCrawl25, plus a re-post of my first one. After tinting the background in GIMP, I had yet another change of heart and decided I would use pencils instead.

This is how I will continue going forward :)

I think it'll be a learning process for all of us - I've already updated my first hex 😀

An excellent start! And I really like the art style, you convey the content of the hexes very well, who cares if the lines join up?

I should also add - after thinking I would do digital art for the hexes, I decided I would instead use pencils. Then I used pencils and decided I would tweak it some more in GIMP.

After some procrastination, I've pulled together the start of #HexCrawl25 - My overview of the realm, a sketch layout of the first region, and my first hex map.

I've chosen a different hex numbering system for mine, a column and row reference that is 21 hexes wide and 21 tall.

That's what got me into it. I saw all his gorgeous maps and got inspired

I'm going to dive into the #hexcrawl25 challenge, proposed by @maatlock.bsky.social. This is creative worldbuilding task that takes place over the course of a year.

I'm looking at presenting in digital form, and using Knave 2 and the Landmark/Hidden/Secret concept from DIY & Dragons.
