We are drowning in pointless information

We lament losing something, in this part of the world. Dark days we say. But much of the world has always lived in the chaos descending here now too. Our stability is a privilege built on their chaos, and their chaos the direct result of our privilege.

If you reframe the actions of much of the EU/UK/US far right, as motivated by money it makes more sense. Outrage and destruction are profitable. To take them seriously is foolish. There’s no long term policy plan, don’t give them the credit. There’s money to be made in chaos.

Tricky travel situation this morning. Had to quickly book a cab. Uber £21 and a seven minute wait, good old fashion black cab £9 for the same journey and you just hop in, it’s right there.

1) Forkable worlds. Every tour through a world has fork points. 2) Credit graph & licensing. Revenue splits follow the contribution graph. 3) Co-presence. Hand off control at the important beats. 4) Some sort of policy kits. Shareable sets of laws 5) Trust by design. Neural watermarks embedded in latent space and other ideas around trust.

This is the stuff that's really fun - but also fundamental - to be thinking about. Allowing people to play in each others creations and regenerate from them requires a fundamentally new kind of networked framework. 3/3
