Sun bears!

I know they had A Moment on the internet a couple years ago but I made some little sketches during a five hour monsoon break at the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation in the reclaimed Samboja Lestari rainforest. They also have a bunch of rescued sun bears which are v good.

Poster design commission + alternate ideas we didn’t use. This is part of a wider campaign to get the belted kingfisher adopted as the official mascot of the University of Illinois, while the school continues to profit off the “unofficial” use of Chief Illiniwek.
