i honestly don't know much about the different types of dysautonomia. this is definitely making me curious, though.

it's interesting reading that passing out might only be expetienced by around 20-30% of people with pots. as someone with pots, i get a lot of pre-syncope but have never passed out. my brother, on the other hand, i think has OH (another form of dysautonomia), and he passes out pretty easily.

in fact, fainting is not closely associated with POTS, and is typically due to vasovagal syncope, either separately (misdiagnosed as POTS due to initial tachycardia) or as a comorbidity. it is more typical to *not* faint.

i've been feeling like i'm losing my mind every time i try to go to bed lately.

i have the urge to try to get into writing again, and it scares me.
