Your goal in any TTRPG campaign should be to make your DM/GM afraid of killing your character. Not because they're some masterfully written epic and it would be a shame to let them die, no.

They should be afraid of killing your character because they know the next one will just be that much worse.

It's literally just a runback of the "no kink at Pride" weirdos. The people who call themselves "LGB". Like, not only are they missing the whole point of Furry/Pride culture, they're actively working to undermine it and present it as some existentially dangerous, fringe subculture.

It's never good when it comes around, but the amount of furries who align themselves with those causes is still significantly less per capita than non-furries. Which still means that furries by in large remain a safe haven against fascists.

Sure, but like, we're not talking about universal evils here. We're just talking about a problem specific to the furry fandom. Obviously if we get existential, there are worse kinds of people.

I genuinely think the worst people in this fandom by a mile are the wave of Covid puriteens who bought fursuits for Tiktok followers. Some of the loudest, rudest, most hateful group of people I've ever seen, screaming and crying about normal things they don't understand.

When you run a campaign that bad in a political climate as divisive as what we have currently, the threat isn't so much that people vote for the other candidate or someone else. No. It's that voters feel so defeated by how dogshit you are that they don't even bother showing up to vote at all.

Remember that whenever someone wants to blame minorities or third party voters for losing the election, they're not thinking with all cylinders.

Potential Kamala voters didn't just suddenly swap who they were voting for. She alienated her voter base and so they just straight up DIDN'T VOTE AT ALL.

If there's any silver lining, another Trump presidency is likely just going to accelerate the final, total collapse of this country so it can finally start over hopefully with a government that isn't complete dogshit.

But that's about all of the copium I have anymore. Lol.

The arrogance they have to throw half of the country's future into the garbage just to suck themselves off and pretend they did nothing wrong.

If they put Tim Walz in the big seat and let him go off on his progressive platform it would have been a landslide blowout for Dems.
