Soren and G'raha stand before the Crystal Tower at the start of their journey together, before G'raha sealed himself away. Both are obviously younger from their ARR attire. The two look up at the tower -- the warm pink sunset fading upward into a starry night sky. Images of their shared memories stand in the foreground; Soren looking on deep in thought as G'raha writes notes for the expedition at Revenant's Toll, and the two of them share a mug of ale in a sunny flower patch near the lake edge. Glowing text from G'raha's spoken point of view reads 'I cherish the time I spent with everyone. What I wouldn't give to return to those halcyon days... chasing ancient secrets, overcoming trial after trial with like-minded comrades... it was as if my dream had come true. It hadn't, of course, because I was no hero. Neither then, nor after. I rarely knew how to play my part.

Back in the present, the Exarch frowns and flattens his ears as he finishes the thought, "But I could not bear to let those dear to me meet a tragic end.' He continues, growing more manic and louder with each title he lists, 'Least of all you, Soren. Hero of Light. Soren the Levinlance, the Song Amid the Sand, Soren the--!' The speech bubbles wind across images of Soren, half-remembered, half conjured from the tales of the 8th Umbral Hero of the Exarch's timeline. Soren appears semi-transparent over a starry sky, first wielding a lance amid purple energy, then dancing with her skirt flared out with a determined expression, and last with her gunblade shouldered in her attire from Stormblood. In the last panel, Soren cuts him off by simply saying his name. Her left hand holds his cheek, and her right is raised to his lips with a gentle finger against them to quiet him. His eyes frantically search her face.

I still hc that it's G'raha's voice, echoing the Scions' wishes. To me some of the lines sound like something he'd write!

it is really funny to me how xiv devs were like "here is a dominatrix enemy who Will fuck you" nd the fandom as a whole was like "awesome. anyways we are going to make insane porn about the dorkass elf and also the two frat bros."

A series of hands from G'raha Tia and my viera Warrior of Light, Lei Lei. The 1st pair is from Crystal Tower era. Both hands are at a resting neither reaching for each other. The 2nd pair is from Shadowbringers era with the Crystal Exarch. The Exarch's hand is reaching for Lei Lei's while she is hesitantly reaching back. The 3rd pair is from post 5.3 era with Scion G'raha. They are holding hands but Lei Lei is gripping his with hers.

The images of hands continue. The 1st pair is far in the future where G'raha's hand is older and wrinkled with time. Blemishes spotting his skin while he's holdin't Lei Lei's hand whose hand is clear of items and her claws filed as to not hurt his delicate skin. The 2nd image G'raha's hand is gone only blue aether remains, meanwhile Lei lei's hand is straight and much thinner than previous versions. The final image is two aether clouds blue and azem gold colored mixing, together once again.

Ours is a long, long journey and mine far longer than yours my love.

I never posted this here but well have some non cannon angst. LOL
