And no im not saying that to be dramatic or to try and make anyones struggle seem less. Im saying it because thats what's will actually happen. We're next. Historically they come for immigrants, sex workers, and lgbqt first EVERY TIME.
Be worried and protect yourself.

Stop voting against your best interests. Do not support these censorship laws. Do not support politicians who back these laws. Those politicians are literally trying to starve you out of this industry.

Michigan already let the cat out of the bag - these laws are anti sex worker, anti trans, and anti women's health. They will put necessary services behind a wall of "adult content" and that will be enough that millions would no longer be able to access basic help.

People will actually die if these laws pass, because they might not be able to access medical care. Or because the cops randomly showed up thanks to an ID ping on an abortion website.

So there's three new bills to be concerned about, BUT KOSA had one of its components gutted last week in a meeting according to some reports.

We must also add H.R.2657 - Sammy’s Law, S.1586 - App Store Accountability Act, and S.836 - Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act to list of bills to tell our reps to oppose.

KOSA dropping duty of care is great but this article buries a very important lede:

If you live in the US, tell your fucking representative that ID verification laws and KOSA are terrible ideas. We cannot let KOSA pass and we cannot let ID verification laws pass, whether it's for porn sites, social media or app stores.

KOSA is a censorship bill that won’t make kids safe. Instead, it'll put all internet users at risk, especially youth. If you believe in a free and open internet, tell your lawmakers to reject #KOSA!
