As Trump Pushes English Only, New Polling Shows Families Embrace Bilingualism Nearly 95% of non-English-speaking — and 55% of English-speaking — families say it’s important for their child to grow up speaking multiple languages.

Polling finds families want bilingualism in schools—even as English-only policies are being pushed:
• 94% of families who speak a non-English language at home say multilingualism matters
• 55% of monolingual English families agree
• Interest in dual language programs averaged 7.9/10 among families

Torrance Elementary unveils expansion of TK, kindergarten classrooms Torrance Elementary School has added four additional four new classrooms and a playground for their TK and kindergarten students.
