We're big on hugs and small talk but we have poor self preservation skills anyway yes I'd love to see your wine cellar.

I read somewhere that Paul Simon was inspired by The Swan Silvertones, so I've started listening to them and holy cow he wasn't kidding. More like he just put new words on all their songs and everything he ever made copied this sound. These guys are amazing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4hd...

This morning I saw someone spell George Orwell as β€œJorjor Wel” and then someone replied that their favorite Star Wars character was George Orbinks and I have been laughing about it ALL DAY.

Oh, how I wish all food was kibbled. Kibbles for autistic folks. If everything to eat was as friendly, tidy, and trustworthy as an M&M, my food troubles would cease. Honest to god I would eat a chicken M&M if it could be guaranteed.

It's salad deficit, is what it is. Your brain cannot salad. You have an inability to casserole.

Something about taking various ingredients and... varying them verklempts you the fuck up.

Food when you have autism is so hard.

Why do I feel sick? Gosh I don't know. Maybe eating nothing but cheddar popcorn for three days has played a part.

God I love space. The more you read the more you realize there is no hell you could come up with that even comes close. And it's indifferent, you know? Hell at least cares about you.

This is neat information because it means black holes can escape from galaxies, and a) that's fucking terrifying but also b) if you were in the wake of this monster, you'd see absolutely nothing in your own sky and wouldn't even know it was there, which is also great!

This is the trail of stars originally spotted by Hubble. It's actually a tunnel of stars in the compressed wake of a supermassive black hole :

There's a runaway supermassive black hole moving at 2 million miles per hour through space, compressing interstellar medium as it goes and leaving a trail of stars in its wake, and for a while it's been a bit theoretical, but the James Webb Telescope recently confirmed it.

The Tempest is my baby, largely thanks to having seen Prospero's Books when I was a teenager. Macbeth probably second.

We report at the end of a strange, warm, sunny day. We spent it attempting to reconcile our idea of an early March day with the lukewarm wind we felt on our face. As the sun is setting, the crisp humidity is swallowing half of the thermometer in one fell swoop.
