🚨💔 SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA 2/10 AT 2 PM 🚨Luna is just over a year old. Still a puppy in so many ways. She should be learning couches and backyards and the sound of a food bowl hitting the floor. Instead, she is standing quietly in a shelter kennel, waiting for something she does not understand.She is a Labrador Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix. Big, young, and gentle-eyed. The kind of dog people stop and look at twice. The kind of dog who should not be running out of time.Luna has been at Devore Shelter since January 30, 2026. Every day that passes, the noise gets louder and the walls feel smaller. She is currently listed as rescue only. I do not yet have the full reasoning behind that designation, and I will be obtaining it today. What I do know is this. Rescue only dogs are still good dogs. They are not disposable dogs. And they do not deserve a death sentence without someone speaking up for them.On February 10 at 2 PM, Luna is scheduled to be euthanized.She does not know that. She just knows she is alone.Luna needs a rescue. She needs a foster. She needs someone willing to step forward before the clock runs out. Please do not scroll past her.
