Yesterday I found out it may put my job in jeopardy. And I see AI used for things artists were employed to solve, so opportunities are decreasing in numbers. I truly hate the timeline we live in.

As a queer artist who constantly draws/writes about toxic hets doing toxic het stuff, I absolutely relate with you. My guess is that we play out the roles adults taught us when we were young, even though we now know these things would not make us happy in real life.

The world is burning, my second homeland is dying, I am afraid for the sake of friends and relatives, while authoritarianism is rising in my country as well. Somehow I am still writing and drawing, even if I don't know whether it'll matter soon enough.

It's infuriating to see pro-censorship tactics like this employed by learning institutions, especially as important ones as MIT. Free speech is one of the most important issues of our time and we must protect it.
