Fantastic to have been able to get Ivan 🇺🇦 to join the Imps. Grateful to all those at the club who have worked so hard to get this across the line.

Unfortunately verbal and online abuse seems to be a common theme these days for our staff to endure, and even our women staff are not safe from that.

It's at times like this I wonder why we bust a gut to do what we do. Hopefully the Toffees can take my mind off the Imps tonight.

That is even more the case when circumstances change favourably during a transfer window.

With only 6 players that featured in the second half of last season departing, and 2 of them squad players, one hopes that will calm our more impatient fans.

When you are signing players on long term deals it makes absolute sense to aim as high as possible instead of focussing on the short term.

Great to welcome an Everton loanee to the Imps. It's been a long time since the last one. Hopefully the start of a closer relationship again with the Toffees.
