Each year, Jimmy Fund Little League provides Little League® baseball and softball players throughout New England the chance to continue playing after their regular season ends, while fundraising for patients and families at Dana-Farber like Owen.

“All the Jimmy Fund Little League kids fundraising are not just helping Owen fight cancer—they are giving him the chance to experience the things that make him happiest, and to build memories that will last a lifetime.”

Through Jimmy Fund Golf, golfers across the United States are helping to make an impact in the lives of patients currently undergoing treatment at @danafarber.bsky.social — and the lives of future patients.

Today, Madison is thriving and soon to be married! Because of their gratitude for the care Madison received, they decided that all funds raised for the 2024 President’s Choice Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament would benefit the Young and Strong Program at Dana-Farber.

Last year, members of Bellevue Country Club came together to fundraise for @danafarber.bsky.social through the President’s Choice Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament. Their inspiration was Madison Cotton, a tournament committee member’s daughter, who was successfully treated for breast cancer at Dana-Farber.

Following State and City Approvals, New Cancer Hospital and Clinical Collaboration Enters Next Phase | Dana-Farber Cancer Institute With the recent completion of a multi-agency, state and city regulatory process, the clinical collaboration among Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC (HMFP) is moving forward. The collaboration will support a new Dana-Farber cancer hospital, and the joint clinical teams are developing comprehensive plans to transform cancer care around the world and push the boundaries of research and innovation.

In collaboration with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, our new dedicated cancer hospital, projected to open in 2031, will strengthen Boston’s position as a global leader in oncology — and expand access to the most advanced care for patients across the region.
