Apparently the prov govt has committed to increase university funding in SK by 3%/yr for 4 yrs. This will likely cover the overall inflation rate (which is nice) but won’t replace revenue lost by decline in the # of int’l students (and they’re not coming back).

If it’s a two-way path then everyone should be in their right hand lane. Cyclists pass runners on the left, just like a two lane highway, and then go back to the right hand side. Cyclists should also announce they’re passing, but if runner has earbuds in then they risk getting startled.

I think we're beyond "rupture". Democratic norms and conventions have been blown apart and may be beyond repair in the short to medium term. Even if the Dems regain the WH & both houses of Congress, it will be difficult to put Humpty-Dumpty back together again.

CBC reporting on the opening of the first nurse-practitioner led primary care clinic in Ottawa. Though the medical associations will howl, this is a key component of solving our nation-wide lack of access to primary care in both urban and rural settings.
