I probably would have had two patients die in the last month alone without PubMed. Because of the peer reviewed articles I found on some rare diseases, confirming their diagnosis, and specialized treatment modalities, they are alive. #Medsky

My point is it’s a vital service. Any delay in communicating latest scientific findings as a problem for patient care. Particularly bc catch up will be slow.

Yes but delaying the communication of science will have serious impacts. We can’t just catch up quickly after it opens. Particularly with so many people let go.

The Trump administration has stopped funding of PubMed, not considering a vital service.

Your doctor will not know the newest information that affects your health. This will cost lives.
