Community defense is different here. Scary. Lonely. There's (some) safety in numbers, and they're hard to come by in our red exurban and rural communities.

The absolute blissed out way I feel after a lap swim workout is how I envision people feel when weed/THC is doing its absolute best thing. So when I've tried weed and it makes me feel like I fell into a shadow realm and everything is flat and muted I'm like wtf. I'll stick with swimming I guess 😅

Mine is that the weasel that burrowed into and ate wires in the CERN Large Hadron Collider messed with the space-time continuum and ultimately is the cause of a bunch of the wacky, unbelievably awful but obvious shit we've been living with.

Had amazing dream last night that the universe began unraveling, with my wife, some friends and I trying to get to some highest point so we could see the end coming (lolwut). We stoically held each other while watching the creeping nothing heading for us, then I woke up. So my brain is doing great.

I don't understand why people keep calling the US men's hockey team a milkshake duck. That implies we didn't know. We KNEW. Everyone who follows hockey knew. They were saying that the entire time. What are you talking about?

Brandi Carlile was magical tonight at Target Center. She talked about how much she loves Minnesotans and I believe her.
