I’m sorry, but I strongly disagree with trying to pressure anyone into using an optional feature simply because you have personal opinions about its use. Use it if you wish. Don’t like or repost if there’s no alt text. But calling out lack of use like it’s a moral failing is taking it a bit far IMO.

I recently found Slime-O Worlds on other platforms and the creator talks about how, if there’s more than one, they smell for and seek each other out. Smart little slimes - so neat!

Ceratiomyxa sphaerosperma from Mera, Pastaza, Ecuador. This tiny slime mold makes its spores on little stalks, giving it a distinctive appearance. My favorite feature of these are the glass-like stems.

A full moon with a lunar eclipse that makes it partially reddish. There are faint stars.

This morning’s reminder there some things, some events, that the collective hubris of humanity cannot control.

And that’s a beautiful thing.

There are more honey bees on the planet now than at any time in human history.

Keeping hives of domesticated honey bees does not ‘save’ endangered native wild bees - it can make things worse for them.
