I love the ongoing bit Jim Henson had where Kermit was repeatedly a prickly, difficult interviewee. He had an existential nightmare every moment he was "alive" because he could see his creator doing everything. Rowlf and Dr Teeth managed that in their own way, but Kermit was too much of a thinker.
