Sometimes I hate living alone. Living with my folks had me well rested because my mom would cook and put my clothes for laundry. Living with my boyfriend got me the same treatment. Now that I'm on my own for a few weeks, I understand why I always had clean clothes ❤️😭(I'd cook, he'd do the laundry)

As much shocked at the nurse as she was with me when I asked for a TVS. "Only married people," she said. My doctor prescribing that to me didn't have a problem, but the nurse at the scan seemed to have it. 🥱

Just realised, I have male friends who are the greenest flags to their female friends, but not-so-green to their own potential girlfriends... 🥲

It's those little efforts that counts... Like always checking up on the flower shop if your favourite flowers are in stock, requesting for an order stock up, and then randomly just getting a bouquet home. Caught off guard — in the best way possible ❤️

I'm calculating my total spends to my revenue and I realise how important it is to have a supportive partner.
Most of my expense for my small business is paid for by my partner, who doesn't expect anything in return. Ofcourse, i just have to buy a cup of coffee which is a sweet deal if you ask me

When winter comes and the fan being switched on or off makes no difference for the cold but being under the duvet makes it too hot, it's only the warm body next to you that makes the perfect in between. 🤌🏻

I didn't think I'd be starting a new relationship that begins in a long distance again.
Here I am, making conversation and, getting to know each other because my family seems to put a lot into me and my new LDR getting along extremely well... Both of us in the same city, I'm too lazy to go meet...

On the road, a song I once despised started playing. It’s wild how easily we tie music to old incidents. That past anger? Gone. Replaying it now, the old negative association just feels silly. A great reminder that context changes everything.

It is the hand that instinctively finds mine—anchoring me even while he is deep in conversation with someone else—and the thumb that rubs against my knuckles, grazing the rough wool of my jacket as we walk, tapping out a secret code that says, "I am here, I am here."

It is the way he builds a sanctuary for me in the middle of a crowded room, ensuring I never feel untethered among his friends.

It is the warmth provided on a cold night, his body becoming a shield against the wind.

It is the lid lowered, a daily act of reverence for my presence in his space.
It is the fever broken by a cool hand in the dead of night, and the silent ministry of his fingers at 3:00 AM, kneading away the cramp in my side before I am fully awake enough to ask for help.

Love, I have found, is mostly logistics.
It is a liturgy of small things, performed not for applause, but for peace.
It is found in the inventory taken in silence—the empty rolls replaced by hands that never use them, simply because mine do.

We could go on picking on each other, roasting each other, pulling each other's legs, but it's nice to know that we can rely on each other in every way.

And yesterday, while I was cramping and my bf returned from the gym and both of us were not in a state to cook, this friend of ours volunteered to order food for us. Of course, he'd initially volunteered to order pancakes/waffles for me because I was cramping, but that was a nice gesture.

And the better part is how all of us take care of each other at this point. Like, one of my friends is a little picky because he's on a fitness goal. And rather than cut a cake for his birthday, I cooked a high protein dish that I sent over with my bf and apparently both him and his dad loved it.

The best part of my life started when I made friends who are actually my age and/or as financially settled as I am. Like we could just go out and cover for each other. One day I cover for them, and the other day they cover for the rest of us. It's an unspoken thing, something we don't mind.

Life so busy with the main hustle and side hustle and the main hobby and the side hobby that I only have time to charge my phone for 20mins a day, and then she goes without being charged for the rest of the 25 hours

You know a cute moment when you squeal looking at a cute thing at a random shop and next thing you know, someone buys it for you no matter how absurd the price might be. All because you found it cute and it made you happy... 🫶🏻
