Wolves beat Denver 117-108. Impressive stuff from Minnesota, bench unit with Bones-Ayo completely owned Denver subs. Denver got 2 points in 40 minutes from Johnson-Strawther.

Not a good sign that the Wolves are just jacking these deep 3s. Points to a lack of answers to get good looks against a Denver defense that hasn't been good this season.

The Wolves are a team that is “fighting the game” as Finch said. Important to win these games while they’re in the muck. But it would be nice to see them play a clean game here soon. It’s been a while.

A dreadful third quarter for the Wolves and now here they are again: in a dogfight with a much less talented team that suddenly thinks it can win.

Wolves have held the Clippers to 8 points this quarter. Defense has been good. Offense is just not allowing them to get any real separation. Missed 3s and missed FTs.

We will find another spot, obviously. But that has been one of my very favorite parts of doing this job. HeadFlyer was such an awesome partner.

The Wolves have really been tripped up by zone defense on occasion this season. Anderson is a perfect antidote. He can get to the free throw line for the entry pass, then hit the floater or make the right pass to open shooters.

At the trade deadline, Tim Connelly said the Wolves might bring back some "familiar faces" in the buyout market. Conley was already in the works. But the plural always meant Kyle Anderson. He will be welcomed back with open arms.
