Right now, we have a meaningful opportunity to stop ICE's violent, cruel tactics and hold its federal agents accountable for their actions.

Congress has until February 13 to negotiate the Department of Homeland Security budget, which includes ICE and border patrol.

As educators, we will go to the places where decisions are being made about our schools and our students—and we will fiercely advocate for them.

And we will not rest until our students have everything they need to thrive.

Mutual Aid is an Act of Resistance and Community Support | NEA In Minnesota and around the country, communities are banding together to provide mutual aid to neighbors suffering from harsh government policies.

For the countless immigrant communities affected by escalating immigration enforcement, donation drives and other forms of collective aid have been a beam of light amid the darkness of fear, brutality, and chaos. Educators have been at the forefront of this response.
