The fact that there is no "Antifa" organization as such means that Donald Trump can use this allegation to target any adversary he chooses as a "terrorist organization."

The real problem is not "Antifa," but rather that there has been so little resistance to the rise of fascism.

Reading the Parable books really had a huge impact on me. I think the books really show how critical it is to build community and engage in preparedness. Butler really was such an insightful author, and I'm sad she didn't have a longer life.

Over the line came a lot of praise, but also some suggested tweaks. First, said veteran Democratic numbers man Geoff Garin, summarizing their analysis, stop saying, "We're not going back." It wasn't focused enough on the future, he argued. Second, lay off all the "weird" talk — too negative.

I just checked and this is accurate. We actually know the name of the guy who told Kamala Harris to stop saying “we’re not going back” and calling Republicans weird.

It won’t surprise you to learn he’s a 71-year-old white guy who worked on Hillary Clinton’s campaigns.
