The fact that there is no "Antifa" organization as such means that Donald Trump can use this allegation to target any adversary he chooses as a "terrorist organization."

The real problem is not "Antifa," but rather that there has been so little resistance to the rise of fascism.

Reading the Parable books really had a huge impact on me. I think the books really show how critical it is to build community and engage in preparedness. Butler really was such an insightful author, and I'm sad she didn't have a longer life.

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election πŸ‘€ #BookSky #BlackBookSky

Behind Trump’s victory lies a cold reality: liberals have no answers for a modern age in crisis | Nesrine Malik As authoritarians triumph by lying and scapegoating, there is no hope for centrists doubling down on a broken neoliberal system, says Guardian columnist Nesrine Malik

'Liberals are struggling for answers because they cannot grasp that the benefits of rationality, individual freedoms, and the pursuit of scientific endeavour and personal prosperity just do not accrue meaningfully to enough people any more.'

Jules Suzdaltsev: Heads up, this is the guy who convinced Kamala to stop running on "Republicans are weird" and
"We're not going back" and instead to lean into the whole "Republicans in the Cabinet" bullshit.
This man is more at fault for what just happened than most people in America.

Geoff Garin: 2020 saw the largest participation in a presidential election since 1960, with 16% more votes cast than in 2016. It looks like we are on track for an even higher turnout this year. If that happens, everything we are seeing indicates Kamala Harris will be

(CNN) β€” Three weeks into her presidential run was the first time the Biden campaign's pollsters β€” now hers β€” held a deep-dive call with Kamala Harris' inner circle
to discuss what she's been saying on the stump.
Over the line came a lot of praise, but also some suggested tweaks. First, said veteran Democratic numbers man Geoff Garin, summarizing their analysis, stop saying,
"We're not going back." It wasn't focused enough on the future, he argued. Second, lay off all the "weird" talk β€” too negative.

I just checked and this is accurate. We actually know the name of the guy who told Kamala Harris to stop saying β€œwe’re not going back” and calling Republicans weird.

It won’t surprise you to learn he’s a 71-year-old white guy who worked on Hillary Clinton’s campaigns.
