That actually makes things a bit worse as it shows he was starting to move away from Final Fantasy. The point is that I don't think he would have made it past 6th gen

You can 100% tell Sakaguchi was tuning out of Final Fantasy main entries at this point. Despite leaving the director's seat in FF6-FF9, he at least was a writer of FF7 and the heart of FF9.

FF10 and FF11 is where he was going away. Even if TSW didn't happen, I doubt he would have made it to FF13.

The right to bear arms was made because it was to allow the common folk to not only defend themselves from threats (back in the day it was the British) but to make sure the government couldn't overstep themselves against the people.

That is the whole point of having a 2nd Amendment.
