Ragwort flowers are so pretty, and I saw many #pollinatorpals visiting including Gatekeeper, Chalkhill Blue, Mason Bee and hoverflies. However, peril awaits some......one unfortunate Gatekeeper had been caught by a Crab Spider hiding amongst the petals.

A cluster of Harebells nodding in the breeze yesterday on the embankment of the old railway from Caernarfon to Bryncir, now Lôn Eifion, overlooking Cors Gyfelog NNR @natreswales.bsky.social, the largest quaking bog in Cymru. #WildFlowerHour

A huge hit with a wide variety of insect visitors is the Common Fleabane. Its beautiful golden flowers are reminiscent of tiny suns and the butterflies can’t seem to get enough of them! I was only able to snap a Painted Lady though.

There’s a huge patch of Common Fleabane in my local park which is looking glorious! I spent a bit of time staking it out but as it was warm everything was a bit too speedy! I did manage to catch up on this beautiful Painted Lady though 😍 #PollinatorPals #WildflowerHour
