Just putting all the demo videos of this tail in one place. It's pretty representative of all my waggy tails. This is the average kind of movement you can expect, this is the way they stand away from the body, so on.

Visual texture is the name of the game for this series.

My needs are outlier to what a lot of folks are looking for in fur. They'd be hard pressed to disappoint me but what I -would- like to see is more mixed-tone short fiber options a-la oldschool CR's/Teddy lines. In any case new materials are new materials, so Im excited.

Well im impressed that they partnered with some makers and took note so... yanno Im optimistic? The video and pics seem good.

So whats my deal? Im a mask and costume artist and my background mostly comes from LARP. My half-face 'larp masks are the heart of my ideal type of build for active demanding environments. All flexible materials, easy-on easy-off, no latex content and easy to clean.

Moving right along... i have to actually do all the necks first because each of these faces has to be drafted individually but the necks tell me where those patterns need to start and stop and connect.

But I can also use this to see what the pattern fur wants to do in relation to other things.

Randomly ran across this pic while looking for something else. It was a build made for a post apoc larp held at the decommissioned Fort Ord Barracks in Monterey. Combat ready, fast- those claws were boffer weapons and the head was all foam and smack-able.

It's all about increasing durability and longevity. I look at this and wonder what I can do with it in combination with just a little bit of paint and wise drafting/cutting choices.

Hm. Again, it's just another knit pile, like any other fur, and that faux swayed backing peels off like nothing.
