am i just too fuckin queer for this??? but even with queer relationships portrayed in novels there seems to be that problem. maybe i just am not... i cant find a better word for this-- romance-pilled. maybe its just Not For Me! (but i SWEAR ive seen romances that worked for me)

"nonbinary people are too sensitive" brother the fandom consistently corrects others if they misgender sherma or other binary gendered characters. why the fuck is that courtesy not extended to nonbinary characters.

there was a youtube vid i watched where the youtuber referred to marmu with they/them pronouns, and people were like, "actually, marmu's a girl" but they did NOT correct him when he he/him-ed the pure vessel???? COME THE FUCK ON

the hollow knight fandom really fuckin hates nonbinary people and i deadass want it to be gatekept cause what the fuck. how can you analyze the shit out of the game but still he/him the vessels or she/her phantom. and NO ONE calls that fuckin bullshit out????

started to read a new book and im feelin some slight trepidation about how the story will handle one specific relationship. if it happens i will be SO fuckin disappointed (but i already KNOW its gonna happen. i feel it in my bones)

very interesting how i am enjoying my second playthrough of silksong. on my first playthrough i kinda hated it since at times, it would feel tedious and unfun to play from how difficult it was. but now that ive adjusted to it, the places where ive had trouble is not as tedious or hard.

honest to god it pisses me off when people refer to the vessels in hollow knight as "he/him" and im lowkey really tempted to reply to those people using she/her pronouns just to see if they would fuckin correct me or not. cause if they DO, then i can pull the uno reverse card. lmao.

i gotta say its really intriguing to see a novel written at that time that makes commentary on race and the cycle of abuse! i want to read it for myself at this point

absolutely uninterested in that new whitewashed wuthering heights movie, but it has made me more interested in reading the book cause of the surrounding commentary about it

its come to the point where i get less triggered and think its surreal. cause how the FUCK did i tolerate that shitty ass behavior???? HOW???????? i know it was manipulation and shit but its just. they were so BAD????

sometimes i get hit with the "that exfriend was REALLY bad actually" thoughts and i am SO glad i have not met someone as shitty as them again cause WTF was that fuckin "friendship"

at the end of the day, i write it for me. if i pick up people on the ride, thats cool. if not, then i still had fun driving the car and making that journey. picking up some riders is just a bonus.

sometimes i feel slightly discouraged that my fic isnt really popping off, but when i frame it like "hey, those who stick around are in an Exclusive Club" i feel more happy about it

its just giving "oh shit, i NEED to include queer people and/or POC, let me just throw them in without thought about how they interact with the world and how they exist outside of their queerness/ethnicity!"
