If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

The worst part of being a former guidebook author is that I have BOXES of old books I worked on, along with friend’s books AND Japanese book references. I can’t bring myself to just get rid of them…it’s the worst when moving. 😭

I did this the other day. There were two people sitting outside of a place for some sort of survey or donations and one of them commented on my CV shirt. They then started telling their coworker/friend about how much they liked the show, and I just smiled and slinked away like a weirdo. 😬😂

For Nocturne Episode 3, we wanted Edouard to have a brilliant felt coat with a pattern, but drawing that would be very complex. In his big turnaround shot, I put in a lot of care to make the pattern have shape and dimension. Lotsa steps went into that. Take a look!
