According to Javier Hernandez, executive director of the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice, Jimenez was trying to assist and provide aid to the person who was being stopped by ICE officers. After Jimenez was shot in the shoulder, the LA Times and LA Taco reported that he drove to his brother’s house so he could take him to the hospital.
ICE shot an American citizen and food bank worker who tried to block them arresting an immigrant by pulling his car in front of them.
After being released from hospital: "He is now facing charges for assault on a federal officer."

In Rogers Park on Friday, a fed who was also seen in Evanston pointing his gun at people & throwing punches can be seen threatening others with pepper spray. Rapid response on bike spotted this car with 2 detainees inside. One is showing their handcuffs & shouting "ICE! ICE! ICE!"
ISP fired ~only a few~ rounds of pepper balls last night in Broadview and we really need folks who haven't experienced these to understand how irritating and noxious they are. I wasn't even in direct line of fire, but the powder lingers. This morning: throat/sinuses are still in awful shape.

This is so true. When Dollar General and Family Dollar are the only options for grocery shopping, the food choices are incredibly limited and prices are often higher than what you traditionally find at regular grocery stores. It's heartbreaking.

The report's claim comes with caveats. Its critics say it does more to reveal issues around collecting and analyzing domestic terrorism data than it does to clarify the current state of the problem.
