"Style guide" is just an industry term for a collection of art that licensors can use to put on merchandise. Sometimes the poses are created for something specific (like school supplies for example) but sometimes they just pick funny poses to add to the collection.

This was a promotional back cover that was created for DC Comics. It had a lenticular 3D effect that turned out really cool. They asked for tag line suggestions and I pitched "Get it in your eyes!". They didn't go for it, but I still like it, especially for a 3D cover. #americandad
