I in fact, when I first started with monochrome, I was only removing saturation from all colors leaving only greyscale, I didn't know there was a difference between monochrome and just no color.

The difficulty with monochrome is that it requires you to be aware of highlights and shadows.

Here’s a photo I took with my phone while strolling in PA in 2018. This shot, showing different colors 🩷🧡💛💚💙💜 peeking through the trees that lie in shadow, reminds me to stay optimistic even when in a dark place💪. Life is full of yin and yang ☯️.
